Jocelyn’s motto is, “tell the truth and make a difference,” and that motto has influenced her career where she advances social, economic, and political injustice for Black and other underrepresented people and communities through her businesses. Her fundraising agency provides, communications, fundraising and coaching services to help social justice organizations and leaders achieve their revenue goals while creating a greater impact. In 2018, Jocelyn co-founded BlackHer, a media company that celebrates the leadership of Black Women while educating and inspiring progressive change. In addition to enjoying her amazing career as a fundraiser, marketer, and leader for nonprofits, she’s in love with her friends, daughter, husband, and dog, Olive.
