Meet the Speakers:

 

Christine Bivens, MCA

Program Manager, MBE Services, Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC)

Christine Bivens, MCA, serves as a program manager in the MBE Services Division of the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC). In this role, Ms. Bivens primarily assists minority-owned companies with certification as well as facilitate relationships between the minority businesses and corporate members of CRMSDC. She brings over 25 years of experience in minority business program policy, management, and implementation, as well as equal opportunity program management and analysis.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bivens has been a strong advocate for small, minority, and women-owned businesses, as well as transparency in state and city procurement and MBE programs. She served on the board and as a member of various organizations that are committed to the interests of businesses including the Baltimore Development Corporation, the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber, the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council, and the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce.

 

Errol Taylor

Director of Minority Business Enterprise Services, Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council 

Errol Taylor is a 1974 graduate of Hampton Institute.  Errol’s professional career began working for Joseph Seagram’s, then transitioning to the State

Employee’s Credit Union, of Maryland. Errol opened C’est Cheese in Lexington Market in 1979, and later launched Charm City Caterers, Inc. After more than 30 years as a small business owner, he serves as the Director of Minority Business Enterprise Services at Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council. In this role, Errol shares his passion for economic development and small business opportunity by supporting and advocating for minority owned businesses.
