Kennedie Toney, Program Coordinator

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Kennedie Toney is the Program Coordinator for the Enterprising Women of Color Business Center. In this role, Kennedie exercises her passion for creating educational and effective programming while utilizing her network of resources to engage with entrepreneurs of color. In the Fall of 2020, Kennedie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management and a minor in Healthcare from The University of Memphis. Kennedie’s desire to learn and create safe equitable environments lead her to occupy several leadership positions, and through these experiences, she implemented a professional development series for women of color focused on mentorship and long-term success. Her expertise and experiences supporting communities of color opened many doors for her, including an internship with ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This experience helped Kennedie gain valuable knowledge and awareness around health disparities amongst people of color. With her experience and wealth of knowledge, Kennedie brings southern charm and innovative ideas to her unique and community-oriented role.
